The World English Sporting Clays Championship is one of the biggest international clay-shooting events of the year, and it’s coming back to the National Shooting Complex in San Antonio from April 22–26. Shooters from all over the world compete in a 200-target main event along with prelims, FITASC, 5-stand, and small-gauge side events. It’s a huge gathering of top competitors, amateurs, and juniors alike, and the whole thing has a fun, festival-style atmosphere with vendors, demos, and some serious bragging rights on the line. It’s basically the Super Bowl of English-style sporting clays — just with a lot more broken targets and barbecue. A variety of demo guns from Caesar Guerini, Fabarm, and Syren will be available to shoot, and a gunsmith will be available for service on a first come first served basis.
